The Pumpkin Festivals are free to attend, giving thousands of families a fun-filled day featuring activities for all age groups, including pumpkin carving, games, live music, great food and more, all the while raising funds for charity. The first pumpkin festivals held in Newland communities took place in October 2006 and raised $400,000 for charities.
